GROUTS

Grouts are mortars or microconcretes of high fluidity and cohesion, pre-dosed specified for various types of concreting, easy to apply, without the need for specialized personnel and with guaranteed performance.

For this, the grouts have in their composition superplasticizing additives, which in addition to giving it high fluidity allow the reduction of water, that provides the hardened material high mechanical resistance and durability. Reducers or retraction compensators are also added, eventually synthetic fibers for increasing toughness.

A FEW CHARACTERISTICS OF THE GROUTS THAT MAKE ITS USE ADVANTAGEOUS

– High fluidity and cohesion guaranteeing that the material is self-compacting.

– Compensated retraction, eliminating the occurrence of generalized fissures.

– High initial and final mechanical strength, generally superior to conventional concretes.

– High impermeability, and protection against the ingress of aggressive agents.

– High adhesion to the substrate and the edges of the cavities.

– The pre-dosed grates, produced industrially allow achieving a higher productivity and quality of the works, eliminating the possibility of errors of dosage in the construction site.

– In some cases the pre-dosed traces allow the addition of large aggregates (hail and/or gravel 1), in certain recommended percentages, without major changes in their properties.

ANCHORAGES

High demands on anchoring elements are becoming more frequent in works. To this purpose, products based on special resins and mineral fillers are available, such as epoxy resin with its high strength and diversity of applications or polyester that allows anchorage even in high humidity conditions.
